Created an amazing character in Hytale? Here's how to export your outfit to share with the community.

Finding Your Skin Files

Hytale automatically saves your character configurations as JSON files. Here's how to find them:

Open Hytale and customize your character

Apply all the changes you want

Hytale saves this configuration automatically

Your current outfit is cached in the CachedPlayerSkins folder:

**Windows**: `C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\UserData\CachedPlayerSkins\`

**Mac**: `~/Library/Application Support/Hytale/UserData/CachedPlayerSkins/`

**Linux**: `~/.local/share/Hytale/UserData/CachedPlayerSkins/`

Look for a JSON file with a UUID name (like `0374340b-22da-43c5-95aa-05408808c714.json`) - that's your current outfit!

Once you've found the file:

Come to [Hyskins.io](/upload)

Either paste the JSON content or upload the file directly

Fill in the details (title, description, category)

Add a preview image if desired

Click "Upload Skin"

Your creation will be live on the site for others to enjoy!
